We had a wonderful time at St Mary's church, Henley, celebrating our 50th anniversary with a concert. Also on the bill were Great Western Chorus (also 50 years old) and ladies quartet Fortuity.
Daisy's Dream at Englefield House
Sat, 16 Sep 2023
We had a wonderful time entertaining the supporters of Daisy's Dream at their Daisy Walk event on 16th September.
It stayed dry, and we were even fed with tea and cake. What more can one ask for?
Thank you to everyone at Daisy's Dream for the wonderful work that you do supporting children and families in the most difficult of circumstances, and for the invitation to take part in the day. It is a real pleasure to be able to support your work in our small way.
BABS Convention
Fri, 29 Apr 2022 to Sun, 1 May 2022
What a fabulous experience to be back on stage at the British Association of Barbershop Singers' Convention for hte first time in 3 years. We all had a wonderful time on and off the stage. Harrogate even arranged for the sun to shine for us!
Added to that we maintained our ranking at 6th place in the Chorus competition, and introdued 2 of our newer members to the nervous tension and delight of singing at Convention.
Massive congratulations to ALL of the Quartets, Men's Choruses and Mixed Choruses that made the weekend so special. We love you all!
Our first "proper" concert in nearly 2 years, following all of the COVID Lockdown tribulations. There were 85 in the audience, due to venue restrictions. Thanks to Marlow Rotary for organising this
Singout, St Marys Church, Kingsclere, 30th August
Mon, 30 Aug 2021
We performed for the village fete on Bank Holiday Monday. The weather was lovely, and we had to compete for attention with the dog show going on elsewhere. The church has a fantastic sound, and we look forward to singing a proper concert there some time in the future.
